Good thing there’s Screencast. A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration. Screencasts are a useful tool for ordinary software users as well, to help report or to show others how a given task is accomplished in a specific software environment. Screencasts are excellent tools for learning how to use computers, and several podcasts have started to teach computer users how to use software through screencasts. Unfortunately, some screencast applications are subscription based. If you are looking for cheaper alternative you should check Jing by Techsmith.
The Jing Project is a screen capture and screencasting tool. Jing aims to make screen capturing and screencasting easier by providing the one program for both and it’s simple to use. The application is developed by the authors of SnagIt and Camtasia, namely TechSmith and it is their newest product. Jing is different from all other screen-capture software as it also has online sharing capabilities. You can make a snapshot of your screen and store it online. The image can be viewed by anyone that has the link to it. And to make it easier for you to share your images the application will copy the link on the clipboard, thus a simple paste into the web browser will take you to it. I have prepared a “HOW TO” to get you started quickly and make your life simpler.
